I just got back from a wonderful trip to Charlotte NC to see my dear friend Mandy. We visited an old church of hers there and I got to meet a beautiful baby girl from Ethiopia who came home to her family there in September. It was so fun as it made it seem so real! Maria is really hoping for a baby girl but given our placement on the lists we are trying to prepare her for a boy! : )
We are a Guatemalan, Ethiopian, American family loving each other through the messes in this crazy life adventure.

just read up on your blog. your kids are adorable. i look forward to keeping up with your adoption process. we hope to adopt one day and this will give me some good insight.
i enjoyed spending time with you and mandy this past weekend. you are a sweet soul with a big heart. continue in the good work you are doing at home. give yourself grace with the every day stuff. i think you are pretty great.
